Dear All!
Here is a brief update so we all have a better idea of what is going on in KWAABUETE COMMUNITY CULTURAL CENTER.
1. The Community water bills were paid, and now the community is making sure to charge small amounts so that the next set of bills can be paid between the Community as a whole.
2. A set of priorities were drawn which include:
-FINISHING OF THE 3 BATHROOMS AT THE FRONT ENTERANCE
-BUILDING A FENCE IN ORDER TO KEEP THE SHEEP OUT, AND MAKE THE SPACE MORE HYGENIC
-IMPROVING THE GENERAL HYGENE AND APPEARANCE OF THE CENTER AND THE ACCESS TO THE CENTRE. ALSO MAKE SOME SIGN SO PEOPLE WILL FIND IT EASIER TO REACH CENTER
-CREATING INCOME GENERATING ACTIVITIES (SUCH AS THE CHRISTMASS CARDS AND T-SHIRTS, KEY RINGS WHICH HAVE PROVED VERY POPULAR)
-INVITING PEOPLE TO VISIT THE CENTER -TO SLEEP THERE OR TO RECEIVE DRUM AND DANCE LESSONS
We shall try to update the blog and show what is going on, improvements etc.
